NMTC Application Process
We would like to hear about your project idea and determine if it is a project that is qualified for New Markets Tax Credits. If it is a qualified project, we urge you to participate in our open application process.
We have been charged by The Treasury Department to find those projects that will be most beneficial to the community and those which are in most need of these tax credits. To best do this, we have initiated a formal application process. We call our "application" the Project Summary. This Project Summary is a questionnaire that gives you the opportunity to tell us all about your project in writing. We will then evaluate each project based on the information provided in the application. Those with the greatest economic impact and greatest need will be selected to receive a portion of our New Markets Tax Credit Allocation.
