Our mission: "To stimulate economic growth within the West End, and Smoketown, Shelby Park and Phoenix Hill neighborhoods of Louisville, Kentucky, by providing an array of financial and development resources."
The Louisville Community Development Bank (LCDB)  is a shareholder-owned, for-profit, FDIC-insured, commercial bank. The bank's shareholders include local banks, local corporations, foundations and individuals committed to serving the financial needs of the bank's Investment Area. The bank provides loans to local area residents and businesses to create new jobs and support owner occupied housing in the Investment Area. Creating a better quality of life for inner city residents is the goal of LCDB and its depositors.  Reaching this goal requires a long-term commitment to stimulating economic growth and facilitating the expansion of opportunities for all.
